Lukas Boehnert

Welcome to my personal website!

I am a PhD Economics candidate at the University of Oxford. My primary research interests are in international macro, and macro-development.

During my PhD, I was a Summer Research Graduate in honour of Ivan Jaccard at the European Central Bank, a visiting student at the Minneapolis Fed and a PhD intern at the International Monetary Fund. I also worked at the United Nations Development Program for one year before commencing the PhD. In October 2026, I will join the Bank of Portugal as a Research Economist.
